Pledge Fundraiser 2013: Axel will Complete 2 Triathlons in 3 Weeks!

In 2013, Axel aims high to raise money for A4A: he will participate in two (2!) triathlons in three weeks!

Support him by making a donation to sponsor him for one or both races.

• • • ONE: COMPLETED! On February 8, Axel participated in the Yas Triathlon (1500 m swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run) and finished with a great time of 2:40:43, thus raising over $1,000. Thanks to all our generous donors!
    • TWO : March 2 he will compete in the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon (750m swim, 50 km bike and 5 km run).

He will even throw in a half marathon on February 15 for good measure! His goal is to represent Adventures4Action and find enough sponsors to raise $10,000.To make it interesting and to motivate Axel to outdo himself, we propose a challenge to our donors: rather than giving a fixed amount, pledge to donate an amount for every minute under 3 hours of Axel's completion time. For example, if you pledge $10 per minute and his final time is 2 hrs 52 minutes, your donation would be $80. 

Your gift will help a community of 250 families in Kenya.

We are no longer accepting pledges... Both triathlons are completed! The Yas Triathlon was completed on 2/8 in 2:40:43 and the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon on 3/2 in 2:21:28.
